These terms govern your use of Lumora. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. We've tried to keep them readable. If something's unclear, email hello@lumora.kids.

The service

Lumora generates personalized children's stories on demand using AI. You provide a child's name and details; we generate a story and illustrations.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 to create an account. (Children may use the service with a parent or guardian.)
• Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• You may delete your account at any time. We'll delete associated data within 30 days.

Acceptable use

Please don't use Lumora to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
• Generate content involving real children other than your own (or those you have lawful authority over).
• Resell our service, scrape our content, or attempt to extract our models.
• Impersonate others, infringe copyright, or violate any law.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules. We'll tell you why before we do.

Who owns the stories

You do. Stories created for your child are yours to read, share with family, print, and treasure. You may use them for non-commercial personal use forever, even after you stop using Lumora.

For commercial use (publishing, selling printed copies beyond personal), please contact us first.

Pricing & refunds

• The first story you create is free, no card required.
• Subscriptions and single purchases are billed via Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout.
• Digital content (stories, narration, and PDFs) is delivered immediately. By purchasing, you ask us to begin delivery right away and agree that digital purchases are non-refundable once generation has started — you waive any cooling-off or change-of-mind refund to the extent permitted by law.
• If a paid story fails to generate, we refund that purchase automatically — you only pay for what we actually deliver.
• Cancel a subscription anytime; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Past charges are not refunded.
• Hardcover books are non-refundable once printed (we'll replace damaged or wrong items at no charge).

AI-generated content

Lumora uses AI to generate stories and illustrations. AI is powerful but imperfect. Occasionally a story may include an awkward sentence, a strange illustration, or repeated language. When that happens, regenerate it for free, or tell us and we'll fix it.

We do our best to ensure stories are age-appropriate, but please always preview new content before sharing with your child.

Limits and disclaimers

We provide Lumora “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do something material, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
