A tiny studio with a very specific obsession.
We make personalized children's books where your child is the hero — written and illustrated in about three minutes, read aloud tonight.
Lumora started in a kitchen, at 9:47pm, when one of us (Tara — hello) was halfway through making up a story about her daughter and a kind dragon, and ran out of ideas. The next morning we asked: why isn't this an app yet? A few experiments later, here we are.
Most AI tools we tried were either too generic (story for “a child”) or too crude (an illustration that shipped without anyone having looked at it). We wanted something that felt like a tiny picture book, not a generated file.

Built carefully, on purpose
We're a small team. We read every email. If a sentence in a story doesn't feel right, tell us — we'll fix it for your book that same night. There's no support ticketing system to fight. There's just us, hello@lumora.kids, and the conviction that bedtime is sacred and worth doing well.
The deal we make with you
Your first story is free. We never need a credit card to try. When something does delight you, we'd love your trust — and if it doesn't, refunds are easy within 7 days. You keep every story you ever made, even if you leave.
